There is no GTA 6 collector's edition with the game. The Vice City Collection is an 11-item merchandise box sold without it. Here is what is inside.
Is there a GTA 6 collector's edition?
Not one that includes the game. The only collector's product is Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State, Vice City Collection, a limited-edition Collector's Box of merchandise that Rockstar announced on 24 September 2026. Rockstar's Newswire says plainly: "Grand Theft Auto VI game sold separately."
To play, you still need the Standard or Ultimate Edition. The box is a set of physical collectibles, inspired by Leonida's hit TV show, Macca the Gator, that arrives on 19 November 2026, the day the game launches.
What is in the box
Rockstar's Newswire lists 11 items:
- A 6-inch Macca the Gator figure with a stash compartment
- Matte black GTAVI Oakley Frogskins sunglasses with Prizm Sapphire lenses
- A New Era 9FORTY A-Frame snapback hat with Vice City Leonida embellishments
- A Macca the Gator magnetic mirror
- A Vice City swizzle spoon
- A Vice City razor blade keychain
- A Leonida Keys crossbody bag
- A Chunkee the Manatee shot glass
- A Leonida Keys enamel pin set in a metal tin
- Premium stickers in a stash bag
- A double-sided souvenir poster with the Leonida map
A closer look at the items
Rockstar's store copy on the GTA VI page adds detail. The Macca figure shows the gator "enjoying a smoke and a flamingo blood martini", with a twist-open base to stash valuables. The sunglasses carry a Vice City pink GTAVI logo. The mirror is electroplated pink glass with two rear magnets, so it works as a tray or as wall art.
The sticker pack holds nine crack-and-peel vinyl stickers, and the pin tin holds nine enamel pins. The poster shows characters from Macca the Gator on the front and a full map of Leonida on the back. Rockstar sums the set up as "all brought to you by Macca and his wetland friends".
Price and where to buy
Rockstar's Newswire post does not state a price. GameRiv reports $399.99 in the US and £349.99 in the UK, and TechRadar rounds these to $399 and £349. That is about five times the Standard Edition price of $79.99.
Pre-orders are at the Rockstar Store (store.rockstargames.com) "while supplies last". Rockstar has given no production quantity and no end date for pre-orders. It says details for Asia, Latin America and Australia will follow, so buyers there should wait for that announcement.
No game in the box
There is no disc and no download code inside. TechRadar notes that when the box first leaked, fans took it for a collector's edition with the game, which it is not. Do not confuse it with the physical copy of GTA 6, which is a separate box containing a download code. Our physical copy article covers that box, and our price article compares the two game editions.
Is it worth the price?
The box costs more than both game editions combined, so it only makes sense if you want the merchandise for its own sake. The sunglasses, hat and bag are wearable, while the figure, mirror, poster and pins are for display.
It suits collectors who already plan to play GTA 6 and want a set of Leonida merchandise on a shelf, and fans of Macca the Gator who want the figure, poster and pins together. It does not suit anyone looking for a cheaper or earlier route to the game.
Before you order
- Budget for a game edition first, since the box does not include one.
- Check the price in your currency on the Rockstar Store, since regional prices differ.
- Check that the store ships to your region, as Asia, Latin America and Australia are still to be announced.
- Order early if you want one, since stock is limited.
